Course Objectives: 
The aim of this course is to teach the main concepts, definitions, terminology in food supplements and nutraceutics which are currently practiced worldwide and their role in human health as protective and therapeutic agents in terms of scientific view.
Course Content: 

Food ingredients essential for the protection of health and for therapeutical purposes; Vitamins, amino acids and proteins, carbonhydrates, minerals, antioxydants, flavonoids, probiotics, prebiotics, oestrogenic plant constituents, polyphenolics, lignans, essential fatty acids, omega-3, etc.
