Within Turkish Society of Toxicology activities, first of “Toxicology Seminars in İstanbul” has taken place under the coordinatorship of our Vice Dean and Department of Toxicology Member Assoc. Prof. Hande Sipahi in our university with participants from Ankara University, Hacettepe University, Anadolu University, Atatürk University, İstanbul University and Yeditepe University. At the seminar, our Vice Rector and the Head of the Toxicology Department, Prof. Ahmet Aydın gave his speech titled “Vitamin D from Toxicological Perspective” and our Department of Toxicology Member Asst. Prof. Gülçin Tuğcu gave her speech titled “In Silico Toxicity Assessment of Vitamin D Analogues”

After the presentations a social event has been arranged with the participants. Participation from different Turkish institutions has created the opportunity for our students in graduate programs to meet and establish network with renowned academicians.
