Course Objectives: 
Since the profession of pharmacy has multi-dimensional working possibilities, besides supporting the management skills of pharmacists who will be working at pharmacies, hospitals, warehouses, universities and in the industry; developing the skill to establish effective communication with the patients and team members, effective time management can also contribute to their success in stress management. Also, in today’s world where change is inevitable, this contributes to their working skills in terms of sustainability principle. Besides the information which will support their profession such Sales-marketing, meeting management, they are also provided information about the interview techniques, which will support their steps in the professional world.
Course Content: 

a)Theoretical part

Information on Management Skills at the Pharmacy, Hospital and in the Industry is provided. Also, subjects such as maintaining effective communication between patient-pharmacist, administrator or team members, productive working within Team members, time and stress management, which is crucial in professional life, and motivation are studied in detail. Meeting management is examined by emphasizing the importance of holding productive meetings in professional life. Besides, change and sustainability subjects are studied in detail because of the fact that our time is the age of change, for the first time the advantages and disadvantages of the four different generations working together as well as the harmony between the generations are examined. Service sales and marketing, which are thought to be known significantly by the pharmacy and industry pharmacist are studied, the importance of emotional intelligence in management is examined in detail.
