Course Objectives: 
The goal of the course is to place practical experience with research about health behaviour and drug (medicine) consumption habits and factors within a variety of cultural and theoretical frameworks. For example, classifications of diseases and their medicinal therapies in different societies.
Course Content:

Students are asked to participate in a practical research experience by completing a number of exercises such as interviews about illness episodes and medicinal product consumption  histories, observations in pharmacies, discussions with health professionals. Presentation topics include:  the history of medicinal product, cross-cultural psychology of drug consumption the relationship between culture and medical ethics etc.
